Toshl rocking the Silicon Valley

These are exciting times for Toshl. We’re on the cusp of releasing another major update with lots of awesome new features and part of the Toshl team is now in Silicon Valley, right in San Francisco to be more exact. Being the center of the tech universe that it is, this brings many new exciting opportunities and we’re just getting started.

We’re based in San Francisco in SOMA (South of the Market) and we’re loving the general vibe in San Francisco. The sort of openness and cooperation that you see here in the tech world is just amazing.

We’re also always looking to expand our horizons, meet new and interesting people, collaborate and also advance Toshl to become the best and funnest manager of your financial life.

If you’d like to meet us, just send us an email or ping us on Twitter. There’s also a lot of events you can catch us at, see where we’re heading on Plancast.

We’ve only been here for a short time now but the experience is already proving invaluable. Getting the vibe of the tech & investment community here is something very different than back home and there’s no doubt, Toshl will be better for it.

Toshl featured on Slovenian national TV

A while ago we were featured on Slovenian national television in a show called Videozid. We talked about Toshl, how it started as a project, sang praises to our team and shared some interesting stories that happened along the way. The interview is in Slovenian so sorry to our (mostly) international readers. For some Toshl TV coverage in English, check out the BBC link below.

A big thanks to the team from VIdeoZid for making the interview and sharing the video.

For anyone looking for some television coverage of Toshl in English, here’s a feature the BBC did on Toshl a few months back. It’s a bit less personal and more product focused, check it out as well!

Toshl tracking more than $250 000 000 of expenses

We’re extremely happy to announce that we’re now tracking more than $250 000 000 of people’s expenses. They’re real expenses too, using some clever algorithms we make sure people aren’t adding wacky fictional items to their lists.

We’re thrilled that we’re helping so many people know their finances better and save money in the process. We’ve got lots of plans to improve Toshl and make it even better. Our mission is making your finances fun and easy to understand and we’ll continue to make that a reality.

250 million dollars is a huge amount of money and it can be difficult to understand how much that is in real life. So we’ve made an infographic to put things into perspective a bit. Now we’re off to fly our brand new Mig-29s. Wohooo!
